What Remains, what emerges

There are moments in life when everything feels layered- memories, expectations, old stories and the pieces of who we once were. Some remain visible beneath the surface while others slowly fade making room for something new.
"What remains, what emerges" is a reflection on that becoming. Soft whites and quiet neutrals create a sense of stillness, while flashes of coral, magenta, deep blue and orange push through like memories refusing to disappear. The delicate lines wander across the surface connecting fragments that at first seem unrelated. Soft layers of misty blue, warm ivory, blush and gray create a world that feels suspended in time; like fragments of memories, conversations and dreams that refuse to be forgotten.
At the center, there is openness. A breath. A pause.
It reminds us that not every chapter need to be written immediately. Sometimes we need to sit in the uncertainty, allowing the pieces of our lives to settle into a new pattern.
And then, almost imperceptibly, something begins to take shape.
"What remains, what emerges" is about trusting the pause; the beautiful, unfinished moment when one version of ourselves is fading and another is beginning to emerge. It is a reminder that we don't have to erase what came before to become someone new. We simply build upon it.
